The Wisconsin of the Blind and visually Impaired presented four Awards for outstanding service. State Representative Donna Seidel received the Legislator of the Year award. The Volunteer Braillists and Tapists received the Public Service Award. The Employer of the Year was presented to Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company which is headquartered in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The Louis Seidita Award, the Councils most prestigious, was presented to Mr. Phil Tyrrell of Janesville. Here is a photo of Phil Tyrrell receiving his award. Phil is joined by his wife Margaret and the Award was presented by Council members Becky Williams and Caroline Congdon.
