GOVERNOR TO SIGN BILLS AT COUNCIL OFFICE

On Wednesday April 19, 2006, Governor Jim Doyle will sign Senate Bill 181 (SB181) to be called Casey's Law at the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired offices at 754 Williamson St. Governor Doyle will also sign Senate Bill 157 (SB157) at that time as well. New powerful Legislative proposals are awaiting Governor Jim Doyle's signature to become effective in Wisconsin. Each of these two proposals creates a safer public environment for Wisconsin guide dog and service animal users. Here are exact copies of each proposal. When AB 353 and SB 157 are signed and published our web site will correctly reflect how the new laws will appear in the Wisconsin Statutes. For now you will have access to the proposals as passed by the Wisconsin Legislature. We are always available to answer your questions or assist in any way we can.
