MAIN PROGRAM
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the latest advances in, and treatments for, macular degeneration. Presented by the University of Wisconsin Ophthalmology and Visual Science and the Wisconsin Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired.
Ophthalmologists from the University of Wisconsin and UW Health Eye Clinics and an expert panel of speakers will discuss important issues, skills and solutions for those facing vision loss due to macular degeneration.
NEW – BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Two breakout sessions will be offered for caregivers and family members to provide support and ideas for caring for people with low vision.
- Breakout Session A (9:50am – 10:40am) – Free and Low Cost Resources: A Workshop for Support Group Leaders and Senior Center Staff
- Breakout Session “B” (1:45pm – 2:30pm) – Mom is “legally blind” — Now What Do I Do?
