The Council produces and sends out two free publications to help friends, supporters, vendors and volunteers stay connected.
The Council Courier is published in April, August and November. It contains leadership letters, legislative updates, Council, staff and volunteer profiles, special event and program details, an events calendar, and stories that provide help and inspiration for people who are blind or visually impaired. The Council Courier is available in CD, Braille, large-print and electronic format.
FRIENDS newsletter is published two times a year. Shorter in length, it includes information about vision health issues, Council-sponsored programs and special events, a column on adaptive tools and techniques that make home living easier, and profiles. FRIENDS is available in print and electronic format.
