LEGACY CIRCLE
MEMBERSHIP
The WCB Legacy Circle has been created to acknowledge and honor generous individuals who take steps to ensure the financial health of WCB. Generous friends remember WCB with their gifts through bequests, retirement plans, life insurance policies or trusts.
GIVING OPTIONS
If planning your estate or adding a codicil you have options to include a gift to WCBVI:
- Bequest cash, securities, or other asset(s) in your will.
- Identify WCB as a Beneficiary of a life insurance policy, annuity, IRA, 401K or other retirement plan.
- Make a Contingent Bequest to allot a portion of your estate to an individual. If that individual does not survive you, the bequest is provided to the WCB.
- Develop a trust to pay income to a surviving spouse or family member and designate the principle to the WCB.
- Establish a Designated Gift to support a specific program or service.
- Create a Charitable Remainder Trust to provide lifetime income for you and an eventual gift to the WCB.
- Endow your Annual Gift by leaving WCB an investment in your will with the interest only used each year.
- Transfer an Appreciated Asset to WCB where the cost basis of an asset is low and the capital gain tax is high.
